The Eisenhower Society holds three signature events each year.\u00a0 Our At Ease with the Eisenhower Society <\/em>event\u00a0held each July, provides an opportunity to enjoy Ike\u2019s favorite foods, learn about an aspect of Eisenhower\u2019s life and work, and socialize with current and prospective Eisenhower Society members.<\/p>\n

Each October on the Saturday nearest to Eisenhower\u2019s birthdate of October 14, the Society hosts a wreath-laying at the Eisenhower statue outside the Eisenhower House on the Gettysburg College campus. This building served as Eisenhower\u2019s office in retirement.\u00a0 A luncheon at Dobbin House restaurant follows the wreath laying.\u00a0\u00a0 After lunch guests are treated to a talk about Eisenhower by a noted author or scholar.<\/p>\n

A member appreciation reception is held annually as well. Dates vary from year to year.<\/p>\n

Additional events are often held throughout the year.<\/p>\n

The society also partners with the Eisenhower National Historic Site to support World War II Weekend each September.\u00a0\u00a0 For a calendar of events, click here<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n
