Guidelines for The Eisenhower Society Grant Program<\/h3>\n
    \n
  1. The purpose of the Eisenhower Society\u2019s grant program is to support the Society mission:\u00a0 The Eisenhower Society is dedicated to promoting the memory and legacy of leadership of Dwight D. Eisenhower, the five-star general of the U.S. Army during World War II who became the world\u2019s most trusted figure and the 34th<\/sup> President of the United States, through educational programs, scholarships, grants, and special events.<\/li>\n
  2. Applications will be judged on the quality of the overall proposal.<\/li>\n
  3. Priority will be given to proposals that most reflect the Eisenhower Society mission, have the most efficient use of funds and obtain an effective evaluation.<\/li>\n
  4. The budget submitted must list materials and reflect accurate costs.\u00a0 Supporting documentation will be helpful. That is Requests for Proposals, bids for work estimates to do the project, supply costs, hotel room rates, etc.\u00a0 Substitutions will not be permitted unless the material is no longer available at the time of actual purchase.<\/li>\n
  5. The funds may be used to purchase materials, supplies and equipment related to the proposal and to pay the fees of resource people for their participation in the projected programs.\u00a0 Proposals just for equipment alone will not be funded.<\/li>\n
  6. Projects must begin within six (6) months of the application and must be completed 1-year after funding.<\/li>\n
  7. Please submit three (3) copies of complete grant request.<\/li>\n
  8. Grant applications are reviewed September 1 through October 1, annually.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    NOTE: All Grant Recipients are required to submit a Final Report<\/a>.<\/p>\n
