The Eisenhower Society is dedicated to promoting the extraordinary qualities of Dwight D. Eisenhower, five-star general and Supreme Commander, Allied Expeditionary Forces during World War II and 34th President of the United States.
Founded in 1969 in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania where President Eisenhower and his wife Mamie owned their only home, the Eisenhower Society perpetuates his memory and his legacy of leadership through educational programs, grants, scholarships and special events.
We Invite You to Join Us! We are a membership organization that sponsors commemorations and educational programs to help others learn more about Eisenhower. Grants and scholarships also educate others and perpetuate his memory. Exclusive member activities and special tours are available as well.
Walton Jones, Chairman of the Eisenhower Society reflects:
My many years of enjoyable and personally rewarding service to the Dwight D. Eisenhower Society has always been driven by that fervent request from Mrs. Eisenhower that the
“Society perpetuate the legacy and accomplishments of Ike and become a perpetual living memorial.”
The Society’s educational programs, annual October commemoration, scholarships and grant program – all, further an appreciation and understanding of what Dwight David Eisenhower accomplished for his country.
