Annual Picnic: Join us for the Eisenhower Society picnic at Eisenhower National Historic Site. Eisenhower Home tours, flag lowering ceremony, putting contest, ranger programs, trivia contest, after dinner entertainment and picnic foods made from Eisenhower’s recipes. 4:30-8 p.m. Information and registration available in early June 2020. .
September 18-19, 2021
World War II Weekend: Over 600 living historians will encamp at the Eisenhower National Historic Site. Demonstrations of military tactics, medicine, communications and more. Tanks, trucks, and jeeps on display. Learn about the home front. Talks by World War II veterans and authors, book signings, and more. Included in site admission. Visit us at the Eisenhower Society display at the event. Saturday evening, a USO style dance with the Gettysburg Big Band will be held. Dance: $10.00 a person (pay at door). Children free.

Eisenhower Birthday Commemoration: 12:00 noon. Annual Dwight D. Eisenhower Society commemoration and wreath laying at the Eisenhower Statue, 300 Carlisle Street, Gettysburg College. Free. 1:00 p.m. Buffet luncheon at the Dobbin House Restaurant, 89 Steinwehr Avenue, Gettysburg. Luncheon speaker: To Be Announced
