D-Day Plus Eighty Symposium: Presented in partnership with the Eisenhower Institute. Held at Gettysburg College. Join guest speakers Dr. John McManus, Dr. Craig Symonds, David Eisenhower and panelists Susan Eisenhower, Col. Douglas Douds and Major General William Matz to learn more about the D-Day invasion and aftermath.

Annual Picnic: Join us for the Eisenhower Society picnic at Eisenhower National Historic Site.
Putting contest, ranger programs, trivia contest, exhibits, after dinner entertainment and picnic foods made from Eisenhower’s recipes. 4:30-8 p.m.

World War II Weekend: World War II living historians will encamp at the Eisenhower National Historic Site. Tours and demonstrations in the encampment. World War II vehicles on display. Family tent with family-friendly World War II-themed activites. Learn about the home front. Talks on World War II by authors and educators. Book signings and more. Meet World War II veterans. Eisenhower Birthday Commemoration: 12:00 noon. Annual Dwight D. Eisenhower Society commemoration and wreath laying at the Eisenhower at Gettysburg statue, 300 Carlisle Street, Gettysburg College. Wreath laying event is free. 1:00 p.m. Buffet Luncheon at the Dobbin House Restaurant, 89 Steinwehr Avenue, Gettysburg. Luncheon speaker to be announced.
